WE 1911s have a lead mixture content in their metal slides. The mags, at least on the first batch, were not compatible with TM 1911 mags. I'd save up and buy a TM 1911 instead.

great now that the moron no nothing spammers are done heres what you need to do. The three pronged spring in the grip was knocked out of alignment (the spring sort of looks like a fork) you need to remove the grip safety realign the spring and reatach the plastic grip/lower half. It will take you a couple of tries before you lign up the three prongs correctly, but I dicked around with mine for a half hour and got it working great. Basically what happened is you dropped it or banged it and the grip which was probably allready loose moved enough for the spring to pop free. FYI wei tech makes awesome hicapas, they dont have the o-ring problem tms do, and they come stock with high quality metal slides and you can get them for less than the inferior tm plastic alternative.

Yeah not sure what people have against WE tech, they make decent guns at an affordable price. I've had my WE tech dragon Hi-Cappa 5.1 for a while and I've had very few problems. I have two gripes, the first being the grip safety doesn't work, though this doesn't affect firing it's just a nice feature to have. Also the tolerances are a bit loose, things shake and wobble, but the WE tech's credit work under harsh abuse... Hmm cheap, reliable, but loose tolerances sounds like a Kalashnikov
