I bought a AMP Aimpoint from AEX recently and The Brightness selector knob has popped out. This left the red dot stuck on one brightness level and I was unable to turn it off. Then the entire knob pops out of the sight. I've already tried pushing it back in and have tried tapping it in with the end of a screwdriver. Any ideas other than heading back to aex?
If you haven't already, take the batteries out.
What happened first was I was adjusting the brightness and the knob popped out a notch and it would just spin without an effect, after I tried to push it back in nothing I could do would get it back in. Then I tried the push and turn approach which ended up with the knob popping out entirely and almost rolling down my stairs! We'll I guess I gotta head back to aex....I need some bb's anyways!
Bring it back in for a new one.
