i would get a tan/OD plate carrier for my first vest. they are practical, tactical, and they last a long time.

On the top of everyone's list of gear to bring. And amazingly this works well with all types of gear, uniforms, look-alikes, high speed low drag stuff available. And I must profess that it is seriously lacking at all games. Especially, by those who are quick to refer to others as "noobs" or have declared themselves noob-free.

It's ok to wear all desert camo and then wear a woodland chest rig or plate carrier though, as our military kinda does that instead of wearing tan ones (anyone know why?). But only if you are wearing full desert camo, no mixing tops and bottoms.
