and its broken!!! Right out of the box the stock is broken! Whoever tested the gun broke the stock when trying to install the battery because they didnt unscrew it first, and the stock broke where the screws meet the stock; then he tried to play it off by putting "careful when removing" on the styrofoam next to the stock, like i wasnt going to notice. i guess i could superglue it but come on, i spent a lot of money on this thing and it shouldt be broken. I gotta give airsoftgi a call and see if they can give me a new stock. They better give me a free stock and like, next day air shipping!! Seriously! bleh, just had to vent, I was all excited when coming home from work because I knew it would be there...and its broken!!!

You will have fun with that AEG. Just take it back and calmly tell them what happened.
All alone he turns to stone

Yea I just sent them an email, I'll wait until after I get the response email to give them a call. I'm really only hoping for a new stock because I really don't want to have to go through all the trouble of sending this one back and receiving a new one. Its a really good looking gun and everything, but I'm really anxious to try it out lol. I'm hoping that maybe they'll upgrade the shipping on it for free because I really don't want to have to wait till next week to get the new stock.

lol, yea red cars attract so much police attention...i got pulled over so many times, not always resulting in a ticket tho. its mostly stock, intake, and a few other little things. biggest performance mod on it is headers, and a test pipe that eliminates all cats, plus a catback exhaust. it blows some nice flames from what ive been told

JB weld, don't buy the quick stuff. Coat the inside seams of the stock while you are at it. CAs tend to crack down the seams.

Yea I was thinking JB weld. I think I may have some at work, if not I'll have to buy some. I'm hoping they'll send me a free one, I sent them an email yesterday and they haven't gotten back to me yet. I'm hoping to get this resolved quickly so i can start using it!!

Even if you get a new one do it any ways. CA full stocks are notorious for cracking at the seams. Both of the CA SPC 15's I owned a few years ago had the same problem as did the CA m249MKII that is sitting in my garage.

yea thats what i meant, that if they send me a new one I'll reinforce it, and I'll reinforce the old one too, that way I got a spare I suppose
Jun 7, 2007 3:45am
I do it to any full stock I get. The Stock top m249 mkII did the same to me as well. I have not had a TM AK full stock crack yet but pretty much every M4 stock I ever have had has issues with splitting.
