well I'm sure you can upgrade the sprin and bushings at least and make it 400fps.

I've owned one, if you have long arms it'll be good, b/c the way the stock is ppl with short arms will struggle to shoulder the weapon properly.

yeah ive held it at aex and ive got realll long arms for my height so yeah it was no problem shouldering the weapon just havent fired one yet and maybe going to get one this summer and yeah i knew they were upgradable just didnt want to start some flame war because a lot of people on here are just waiting to do that to me as it is lol.

well... all AEGs shoot the same, pretty much sound the same, so it's really all about ergonomics and style.

I love mine, shoots great. When I compared it for fun to the cheaper Mp40 that's out there right now selling for around $139ish it really made the Thompson seem pretty sweet and accurate. But not really comparing apples to apples here.

oh.. how do u like that mp40?

Besides the hop up being broken, I like it alot. Though I'll like it alot better once I fix it. However I don't know how to. (o:

AEX is your friend lol. they would only prolly charge you $15 labor and whatever else in parts if you need any or if they can just put the hop up back together or something.

Even though they sell that gun. I hear they wont work on it. )o:

I just called they will work on those.

i was about to say AGM's are pretty much TM clones with metal pinion gears rather than ceramic! Too bad they won't carry AGM M14's!
Jun 24, 2007 6:26pm
TM pinions gears are metal, not ceramic.

The TM Thompson is pretty nice. I wouldn't say that they're externally durable, though. The outer barrel has a tendancy to break off on them, since it's made out of chincy potmetal. Mine was broken when I got it (I did get it from a crappy retailer -- pyramidair) :x .
