Glock Problem

Jun 8, 2007 12:44am
I have a KSC 18c and it won't shoot right. I put the gas in the magazine and put bb's init and load the magazine in the gun the same way i used to but for a while now it will only shoot the first shot. After the first shot i have to rack the slide back in order to chamber a new bb, like a springer. After i shoot the last round in the magazine it lets all the rest of the gass out at once, and some times before even shooting the whole thing. I aso can never get more than one magazine's worth of shooting from one chare of gas, even before i started having this latest problem. I've tried shooting it with both my standard capacity magazines and my hi-cap to see if it was one of those messing it up, but it did the same with all of them. I use .20g bb's (the cheap kind, not polished), and Hou Shiueh silicone mixed super power green gas. Could those things cause the problem or is it me or my gun?

I had this same sorta problem..well roughly at least with a KWA glock 18c and i had only put one mag through it and took it back to aex the next day...is your gun brand new? You should also stick to the bb's they sell at aex you know like AE's, toytecs, excels, etc...not some cheapo brand get the good stuff.

+1 to that... use high quality bbs AND green gas - the extra power stuff might be adversely affecting your gun too...

Make sure to lube your valves and stuff, there might be excess friction.

yeah that's what i was thinking. I'm going to aex tommarow, so i'llo pick some up and see if that's the problem. It's not a new gun i got it in a trade. It still looks like it's in good condition though, its only got some scratches on the slide and the selector switch is a little messed up, and it has no sights, but other than that it seems to be fine.

I think thats a common problem for the kwa/ksc 18c's. All the small parts wear out over time and use especially all the parts in the slide related to the selector. They're under constant stress everytime you fire.
Jun 8, 2007 1:17am
so basically what you're saying is that i can't fix it?
Jun 8, 2007 1:19am
you may not be able to fix it a lot of automatic glocks break there not the most reliable guns first off ohh and [quote="kdub1290"]yeah that's what i was thinking. where are the valves
Jun 8, 2007 1:23am
I would suggest getting aex to maybe point out a few things for ya.. do u even know how to lube a mag? have you ever cleaned your barrel of your g18c before?
Jun 8, 2007 1:26am
i've never lubed it but i've only used it maybe five times just shooting around in my back yard, never in a war. I have cleaned the barrel out and the spring and everything else i came reach with a q-tip without undoing any screws
Jun 8, 2007 1:27am
q tip? try getting a barrel cleaning rod or something and put lube on a soft cloth and clean out the barrel as far as i know i've never heard of qtips being used to clean barrels ohh and your hop up should be off if your going to clean your barrel.
Jun 8, 2007 1:30am
yeah next time i get a pistol i'll ask them how to do this crap because i've never seen a hop up switch on my gun before or know how to do any of the other things you are saying, but thinks for your advice.
Jun 8, 2007 1:32am
go to aex and ask the techs there how to take the slide off and such its pretty easy but it'd be better for them to tell you then someone on the forum to tell you because everythings easier in person you know.
Jun 8, 2007 1:35am
i can take the slide off along withr the recoil spring and guide rod, barrel and inner barrel with my eyes closed(literally,i've done it) but its the cleaneing and lubing and hop up and all the rest of that that i don't get. So i'll ask them next time i bring it in.
Jun 8, 2007 1:37am
alrighty then.
Jun 9, 2007 12:14am
its the screw in the rear of the slide, its lose, use lock tight to make it fit. ALL KWA GLOCKS have this issues stock.

Jun 9, 2007 2:44am

Jun 9, 2007 3:01am
