I just polished the slide on my G19 and am noticing small amounts of oxidation ont he metal surface. How do I prevent the slide from oxidizing other than using some type of reducing reaction? (bad chem joke). Only thing I can think of is to apply some type of oil but I don't want an oily slide. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could to?
