QUESSTION!!
Well, I went by Crescent's Work and Supply, and apparently I need a new spur gear and selector switch..plate..thing..
125ish to fix a selector and spur gear???
fix it... the guy sounds like an idiot, where is this place btw?
Its in Modesto. Who did you talk to? and can you be more spacific about a switch plate thing? is it a switch plate or some thing attached to it or what?
Fix your TM. I don't believe the CA will 'own' your TM. Besides, you'll also have to get rid of all of your magazines and pick up new ones that will work with the CA M14. Get the selector plate... switch thing replaced and use this opportunity and your money to upgrade your TM M14.
Yeah, but I'm not gonna touch an m14 again, and neither are my other friends since it's a version 7 gearbox.
you can always order the parts online. get it fixed and if you arnt happy you can sell the fixed gun. you would get more people interested in a fixed gun then an broken one..

selector plate switch thing? There is no selector switch plate thing. I don't know why people installed a systema super torque motor in it. I have been able to get my m14 to shoot about 525FPS with all stock gears, and motor with nothing but upgrading bushings and spring.

yeah, the m14 uses manual cutoff i believe. Anyhow, it's the selector arm that broke. Pretty much got the rest of the upgrades for durability.
if he did your upgrades for you then he did a horrible job. The stock gears and motors can take over m150 spring without a hitch. Hell the motor barely got hot on mine. And all this on an 8.4v of power no strain whatsoever. "Durability" upgrade in a version 7 gearbox is almost unnecessary.

So, where do I get it fixed, my parents...or my brother as a matter of fact won't drive me an hour to drop off my gun at AEX and come back later. I don't know where to get it fixed @_@. I'm seriously just considering selling it or something, but it's just such a badass gun, lol. Meh, I wonder if there's any locals that could get it fixed.
Correct me if i'm wrong but can't you mail guns to AEX to have them fixed?
