TM g36c(with g36KE conversion kit) OR CA g36E ?

Jun 12, 2007 2:16am
ok so im looking to get a g36E i know CA makes one and i know TM makes the g36c( i would get the conversion kit). now i've heard many many things as far as TM vs CA, and from what i can tell TM is more reliable, has better internals and is easier to upgrade but CA has nice bodies, higher fps, more durable(?), and actuallt make the g36E. i will upgrade with this gun eventually and it will most likely be my primary weapon. can anyone give me some advice on which i should get? and the pros/cons of either? maybe some words of wisdom from oweners of the guns?

even though CA is getting better their V3 gear boxs still kinda suck. the stock bearings are horrible, and the wireing harness tends to burn out. On the ones i have worked on the soldering work fromt eh company was horrible. On my friends the the soldier job was so bad the switch was buring at the contacts. He re soldiered (cause i cant soldier) and bam his ROF went up, more round per second. Then his gear box shell broke oh and did i mention it was a CA and the stock bearing was out of round so it over heated the gear axle dired up the lube and destroyeds the gear. The gun was CA g36c EXACT same internal as the K u want.

Definately get the TM. Sure the body on the CA's is "more realistic" (although not necessarily better) they are known for internal problems (mainly electrical). Also the CA G36E can't accept 509mm barrels due to some barrel blocking device in the outter barrel unlike all the conversion kits and STAR models. You're limited to 495mm with CA.
