Anyone have any experience with these? Or even the regular kjw 1911's? I have seen a lot of stuff posted regarding the kjw usp's and berettas but not much on the 1911.

go to airsoft players. there are quite a few posts there. to summarize though, it's a good gun. the 1911 is a copy of the old WA magna blowback para ordinances (not the new system). Slides and frames are in fact interchangeable between the two. Somone on airsoftplayers changed up his WA hrt slide and frame for the kjw one. Other internals will be more difficult to swap. The gun apparently has good kick and the metal one's seem to be reliable, thought not as refined nor accurate as the WA counterpart. but that is to be expected. I'd say, get the metal version if you're interested and use it as a good skirmish pistol. Stay away from the plastic ones because I've heard there are some problems with that.
