is the maruzen mp5k really rare?

Used, yes. New, somewhat. Mags are a bitch to find localy, same with the weapon. you'll mainly have to go online and order from HK.

I used to have one modded for green gas. It was awesome! Only had one mag though. The mags are no longer made, but I have heard rumors of another production run in the future. The gun itself is really fun to shoot.

+1 wish i still had mine. The blow back is sick Range however was really low. Its only really IMO for the novelity purpose seeing as mags are rare, not alot of range and the rapid cooling of mags makes in a hard combat rifle if its your main guna dn if u only got a few mags.

Yeah, that gun is still awsome. It was my first gas gun. I still have mine. I have the CQB I version. It has all the upgrades and shoots constant at 350 fps. I have four mags for it (1std,3hc). This thing has so much recoil in full auto it shakes the mag out of the well. I might use in a game sometime soon i hope. Dentist-out
