Sniper Rifles
i am looking into getting a spring sniper and want to know if what one is better for the price. a TM VSR 10 or a Maruzen APS2?
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.
careful what you're asking here Dusty!! TM vs. CA!!! LOL, this oughtta get interesting, YOU NOOB!!! LOL
LOL!!! I've heard there both fairly reliable sniper rifles but I think to get to 500fps safely the VSR may be a tad bit cheaper from what I understand.
VSR-10 is cheaper, and very easy to take down. +1

Since you're going to replace most things anyway it doesn't matter too much...
I've had both, many APS2's and a VSR10
dont forget thought the cyclinder is a bitch to upgrade on the VSR due to the pin drilling but hey if u replace the cylinder then no biggie. I say get the VSR real shock system 8)
but guys dont forget about the long run,i have heard numerous times about how u can do so much more with the Aps-2 over the G-spec

My question is what do you have to do to get the vsr-10 Gspec over 500fps? I have got tightbore, lalax piston, both sears are updated, a lalax 150sp spring, what else do I need? I can only get around 420-440fps....any help for this one would be great...

i shot the GSPEC at aex today and the thing is super quiet and pretty accurate...i havent shot the other but the TM is also VERY light so u could just sling it and carry an mp5 or sumthin no problem

[quote="Amateur Ninja"]obviously you dont know him.
I would have thought with everything else in the gun that a 150 would do it! I do not want to go to a 170 spring. I am thinking of a teflon cylinder and new nozzle setup for it and lastly a zero trigger but that latter wont effect fps. So any gspec guros' out there what do I have to do to get over 500fps?
RazorOne
You could look at UNcompany's custom gspecs that are 500fps and see what they have in them.
RazorOne go to airsoftpacific.com and look up...i think his name is Mono. he has a really nice Gspec that shoots over 500 fps. ask what he has done to his
