potato gun

well me and my freind want to bild a potato gun, and i was just wondering if eny of you have ever bilt one? and whats the best tipe to bild?
this is my rifle, there are meany like it but this one is the one IM GOING TO CAP YOUR A$$ WITH!!

ha i just buy the 99 cent ones at albertsons or safeway sumtimes i use a strong straw not as fun as shootin stuff with a m4 but when you hit some with a piece of potato mhmm

Me and some buddies built one our senior year in HS. We built it in metal shop, out of 3" Pipe. We welded a mount for it to set in a truck bed. We used Starting Fluid (ether) and a electric igniter from a BBQ later we used a lawn mower spark plug and ran a 15' lead to a simple control board and used a 12 volt battery to fire it. IT WAS AWESOME!

we built one with PVC and used propane as the propellent and a bbq lighter to light it..
