CA hop buckings are notorious for being POOP, but yes, I don't think a bucking would be worn after 700 rounds.
My best advice for new airsoft players:

I have been to gamepod and they give excellent service!!! They took apart a new gun to give me hard to find parts for my 249. You won't find many dealers that will do that for you period! He even gave me a bag of bb's just for making the drive from Sac... Not crappy ones either.. AE .20's. If you ever have a gun you need help with Jeff at Gamepod is a good guy!!!
RazorOne
why would anyone recommend a bore-up kit for a 400fps upgrade? And yes hopups can tear/wear out fast.
Pygmy Militia Group
I have a pretty good idea who it was. Anyways, that's not important.

as to getting that other 20fps out of it, look into a tightbore so long as you're not the type to glue your finger to the trigger, which I know you're not. Anyhow it'l give ya a good 10 more, then maybe think about upgrading it on a compression level. I've foudn that with the right gears, piston head, etc. I can get better perforance outta my AEG's than simply raw power (like ramming a m120 in a stock TM and being done with it lol)
