Standard or Hi-caps

Jun 29, 2007 9:52pm
So me and TheStone were talkin bout hi caps and standards and he told me some nice pointers like standards are quitter than hi caps and hi caps are crazy loud. So now im looking at which one to buy hi caps im more for because of how fast you can fill em and shoot but i dont want to get my teammates pissed off for being loud. So i was wondering if you guys have any pros and cons of these things. Any informations greatly appreciated.

Well hicaps hold alot of ammo, but pain to wind and are loud. I like midcaps because they hold more than standards but no winding. However i noticed that they tend to wear out fast. but standards are always good and cheap for the most part. Plus if your going for realism standards all the way.

Shot placement FTW!. I run midcaps at most times. There's this little thing called "aiming." You should try it some time ;-) Semi auto fire only for this redneck unless there happens to be a large group of bunched n00bs; still not auto there, bursts.
"People aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I do naive bubbleheaded optimists who walk around vomitting sunshine."

Depends on what you prefer.

I don't claim to be the most experienced guy around , but I suggest mid caps all the way. I rarely go through more than 100 rnds in a game so I usually don't even have to swap mags. If you are worried about loading mags, just get a an automatic loader. It only takes a few seconds to load a 140 rd mag with one.

I personally Prefer Mids because I tend to shoot at moving targets and the mids make it easier for me to track targets without worrying about ammo. I always carry a Highcap on me as a last ditch ammo reserve just in case.

I just searched "Glock Drum" in google. I have also seen Uzi Drums, Mac11 Drums, Luger Drums and all sorts of other crazy drum mags
