TM Uzi Tech Help

Jul 3, 2007 7:04pm
So I know that the TM Uzi has lots of limitations when it comes to upgrades due to the gearbox design/material, the reverse spinning motor, and the general lack of parts, but I want to know which parts are replaceable with generic aftermarket parts and which parts have to remain stock. Maybe some Uzi tech *cough*Ryan*cough* could help me out

Well the previous owner unhooked the tappet plate to make it a non firing prop so I am probably gonna have to open up to fix that but now you guys have me all scared.

I've opened mine up, and put it back together and had it fire. If you want one for parts, I have one I'll sell you for $40.

I dont have mine yet, it should be here in a week or so, but do the bushings look the same as the ver2/ver3 bushings? My plan is to hopefully put in bearing bushings, bearing duracon piston head, and bearing spring guide (if they make one that will fit) reshim it and relube in an attempt to make the gearbox more efficient battery wise. <--- Did any of that make sense?

Dude, there's nothing wrong with stock TM guns. The longer I play, the less upgrades I like in my gun.

Well I loved my stock 733 and all stock Tm guns for that matter, and the point of upgrading it wasnt for higher fps but an attempt to make it more efficient and put less strain on the weaksauce stick battery and plastic gearbox

i dont know Augie. I have TRIED to kill my Uzi. Been trying for like 2 years and however long CP had it i have TRIED. I let Ding attempt to kill her at Ord. I tried to kill her by shootin turkeys in my back yards (i live in the middle of no where on 6 acres no neighbors to scare). I cant kill her. And the battery life is good. Im emtpy 4 hicaps a day with that things and the battery dosent seem to drop.
