I just stumbled upon this thread, and it seems to have worked its magic course quite well. Group hugs, ousting of private messages to the public, and a few snappy words, all good forum building exercises. I hate to say this, but I think a lot of your are forgetting one minor law about our great state of California:

Good god people. This is an EXCEEDINGLY simple topic. I've been trying to refrain from posting because I was hoping people would wake up and stop making fools out of themselves.

I think we can all agree, that waivers might not be legally necessary.

I should have put this in my orig post, but didn't. I'm wholeheartedly for minors playing this sport of the are responsible. There's a few that I'd loan my gun to, give a ride to, etc. HOWEVER, altho I'd not be worried bout it, there are those who would be after reading this thread.

I think there's a difference between shooting paper targets and peppering someone with plastic bb's
