I'll stick with my Intel Imac. >.>. Sucks that Enemy Terrortory: Quake Wars is just for Vista. I don't want to deal with the bugs of that OS.

eh vistas not that bad, sure XP performs better in games but I don't notice much of a difference considering the fact that I haven't compared the 2 operating systems side by side with the same game.

Alright alright yeah vista sucks. But do you remember everything everyone said about xp when it came out and how horrible it was and how many bugs there were? Well they kinda fixed that now didn't they. Vista has its flaws, but you can't blame Microsoft that software developers and hardware manufacturers aren't supporting vista and 64bit vista 100%. It takes time and we are at a bit of a transition to 64bit computing, which is what vista is for, so that when vienna comes out in 09 (so they say, id say more like 2010) that everyone well have hardware capable of running it. Vista isn't as good as it could have been out of the box because they are have been making vienna at the same time, as its going to be way different then any windows before. No more start menu and all sorts of stuff. Yeah alot more like linux in some ways but there is a reason for that. Vista will get fixed, and someday will be great, we just have to suck it up for now. I suggest dual-booting it with XP.

there are gaming laptops out there, quite a lot actually and a lot of hard-core gamers that go to lan parties use them all the time. It's way better then having to lug around all the essentials needed for a computer.

yeah, i love apples. Aside from the Mac Pro, you can only put RAM and a CERTAIN type of graphic cards into macs. The Mac Pro is $2500. So when it comes to me wanting a comp thats upgradeable, etc, it comes down to a PC. Im getting a kick asz rig going for under $600... im getting HD, DVD drive, case... and some other stuff for free, though.
