I'm tellin ya they are not the same after they get their hands on them and def not echo1's, e1's are branded with their logo(kind of hard to remove), echo1's shoot 330-340ish at best and my buddy's e1 is nothing like mine in performance or accuracy, the only thing in common is they all started out at the JG factory, something the guys were totally upfront about, but hey its your money, just posting my experience with it so far, I'll happily pay the 49.00 difference for all the extra upgrade work thats been done.

I wasn't saying that JG and E1 arnt basically the same(rebranded), I was saying that the ones at gamepod arnt e1's and are no where near the same other than they originally started life at the same factory.

aaa ya a ksc is a kwa(except the kwa has a light weight metal slide) I get the point, but saying the plane jane JG/E1 is the same as the gp one is missing the whole point , its not like they take a JG and simply turn around and sell it as is, about the only thing the same is the body, but hey if you like paying an extra 150.00 for the TM M4S's 350.00 price for a made in japan stamp, and then another what 80-100 bucks(450ish now) for an upgrade to 400Fps thats cool, just wanted to post my experience with the gun since thats what the question was that started this thread.

you forget that KSC/KWA one is made in Taiwan and the other in Japan and both are made the same difference is the Japanese has a tighter QC. And yes an Echo 1 does just repackage a JG. If you think otherwise than you're being quite naive.

Actually both KSC and KWA are made in the same factory in taiwan, different assembly lines, different QC, KSC also has trades, KWA does not, but your dead on about the tollarance differences, its all on arnies somewhere.

I believe he is talking about GP maning Game Pod. What he is failing to under stand is that they are selling a EXPORT version, which has a stronger spring. it is pretty much what every one else is selling here in the US. I can get the EXACT gun from Teck Toys in Chico.

Ya the gamepod ones, I know most of the guys down there and can guarantee if they say they go through the entire gun and are changing out crap parts for good ones, they go through the entire gun and don't simply sell an export version thats not the way those guys operate plain and simple, if you've ever dealt with them they're strait shooters.

OK I don't see it economically/financially sound for Gamepod to be spending their labor productivity to open up every single shipment and "modifying" it as you like to put it. So why didn't they do it for their Star and G&G lineup which everyone can obviously agree has a lot of QC issues? Also Gamepod isn't doing this for the benefit of the consumers. They are doing for their own benefit. They are not trying to drive the prices down. They see an opportunity to distinguish themselves from AEX since they can't seem to do it on service alone.

Since they're Chinese guns I'm sure they get them at a low enough cost to justify doing work on them, otherwise why bother.

Again why would they do so on an even lower costing aeg and cut into their margins still? It's not sound business practice in the long term. So I'm still very skeptical of them doing any work besides checking for DOA's.

I think, uhh, we should all wait to see if the clones still run steady 2 years from now before anyone praises/curses them. The future hasn't happened yet, so none of us can be sure of it. :wink:

I can give you a G&G review...THEY SUCK BALLZZZZZZ! I have owned 2 of the GR15s(Lets not forget G&Gs INTERNATIONAL V2 gear box recall from last year) and 1 m14 and I do not own them any more.

Ya I used to be one of the AXE fans too, until I got tired of having to keep taking my guns back for rerepair and being told I must have used cheap bb's thats why it broke, that blip is probably an exorcet missle thats why everytime I'm in there I meet some of the cool people from sac.

1/2 the price of TMs? How much are they really, last time I talked to Chino, a tech at Gamepod he was selling a JG M4 for 199, that's not half the price of TM at all.

I see you made the trip down from sac, you might have been one of the cool sac people I met : ) not a bad shop for a blip.

Im agreeing with Freq88 on this. It doesnt make sense. Are the clones a good thing? I say no. Its bring the sprot more main stream and in the end al the little kids will be running around with look a like toy guns in their back yards having the cops called untill the cops turn green and say no more real looking airsoft guns.

hmm, why would you need to replace anything that you've mentioned in a TM spot? all those parts in a TM are of outstanding quality, and will provide years of faithful service.
