Its basicly a G36 in a new body. In my opinion, CA makes a good G36. V. 3 gearbox, ok compression and with magazine packs on the market, I'd be willing to get it, if I weren't planning on spending cash on getting a Skorp, magazines for it, additional gear, and a SLR-105 compact. Like Nick ( nightblade) said, CA is hit or miss, and so far I'm 2-0 with CAs. I've owned a G36C, and alone put roughtly 30,000 rounds though it with no issue. I was the third owner, and most likely had about 15,000 to 20,000 rounds though it from Shawn and Ryan. Be aware that the "Semi" is Full auto on the SL-8, so you'll need to mod the weapon to do semi if your gonna turn it into a Sniper AEG.

are you planning on upgrading the internals? if you do i would recomend a scope that will give you range you will want it if you are going to use it as a sniper.

so you wont use it as a sniper more like an accurate firing aeg? so you will still have the full auto use or no?

well that seems like my m14 i use a red dot, that way my vision isnt messed up and i need to focus on only one spot also i liked the look of randy in bhd with his m14 and red dot for quick aiming. :D

haha okay hey do you know the difference between a red dot scope and a green dot beside the obvious color difference?
Jul 14, 2007 7:49pm
some scopes have both green and red. it is mainly which color you would prefer to use. i like red myself i think it is easier to see. also the types of red dots that can change the intensity works great. you should go to aex and try them out look through them and see which one is easiest for you to view through.
