You have a point, but when it has already happened, a quick giving-a-new-guy-the-lowdown resolves the situation a lot more quickly.

The degradation of this board is due to the young ones on this board who in their own infinite wisdom deemed themselves "noob" free. Being "noob" free has also granted them the power to flame, deride and make inflammatory remarks to others who are new or mentally challenged.

I have no problem being impatient with crap threads, but it was the response to some seemingly legitimate threads that really put me off this evening. I usually try to keep a low profile...
