ESS NVG Profile vs. ESS Land Ops
I was on base today and noticed both of these for sale in the uniform store.
buy the ones with the fan that is what iwear and you will never fog.

I'll be hitting radio shack and fry's to look for fans.

poser is talking about the ESS turbofans right?
Unfortunately I cannot afford the turbofans. But Andrew how are you gonna use the fans from Radioshack?

Instead of that just buy paintball goggles (it will be afull mask you yank out the goggle part or cut and leave the mouth piece there for protection and you can still aim your gun) but get the ones that are double paned they never fog up either.

I've had all sorts of anti-fog fog up. Fans ftw. lol

dye paintball masks have fans on the top also. I believe the fan will work on any paintball goggles, AND you can remove most goggles from the mask. i.e. the cheap walmart masks
guess you can call this a bad reference, but look towards Ghost Recon 2 for mask protection ideas, just run with goggles or glasses) Frys ( atleast the one in santa clara) sells LAEGs along with low end Paintball guns. They sell masks for around 20 to 40 bucks, and they sell alot of fans for CPU useage. I'm sure you can get both there.

Interesting. I'm probably looking at a simple on/off switch. If it spins to fast or slow I can alter the voltage.

you should only need to run it for 30 seconds at a time to de-fog so a switch would work best. it's just going to be hard to keep it all concealed and "small" but they might sell the buses for watch batteries witch would be the smallest.
I got a battery holder and an awesome little on/off micro switch at fry's. The switch is like the one on a CA m249 except this one is click-click instead of momentary. The fan is in the mail. Total moneys spent so far is $8 plus a cup of coffe on the way to work.

Loving the price. Please keep us posted.
i did that a while back on my BOLLEs and the fan is ziptied on but theres no battery case yet. I also have that G&G fan they sell on redwolf on my G&P Fake Oakley Assault goggles that works awsome
You can get a pair of brand new ESS Profile's on eBay for like $30-$35 shipped... I got mine brand new for $25 shipped =D.
