king arms crap
i put i brand new king arms 7mm bearing gearbox in my ca g36k. ever since i put this thing in, everything has been shitty. now can someone please tell me, am i retarded for tryin a king arms box or are their gear boxes legit? ive noticed the space for the tappet plate is a bit larger than the space in my stock gearbox.... i think that is the main prob....
Hard to say without seeing pictures of what you mean. From what stock gearbox do you mean. What's messed up.

damn im so lazy why u gotta mention pics lol
well does it still return to its full correct postion?
i dont think it goes all the way out, it dry fires most the time
is the nozzel connected to the tappet plate?
okay so, the tappet is doing its movements just fine, i think its just a really old nozzle. could an old nozzle cause it to do mostly dry firing?
make sure the nozzel is connected to the tappet plate so the nozzel moves each time the gun cycles
the nozzle it worn out but still connected to tappet. the nub where the cylinder head holds on to is back about 1 cm from the front of the gearbox where it is supposed to rest. im thinking that is whats keeping the nozzle from fully cycling......
Was your old box broken?

no, i just wanted a box with bearings. maybe i should just buy a whole new set up and leave it untouched and keep it stock.
Don't CAs use bearings anyway?

I just checked, they use bushings.
these are king arms bearings. if whole gearboxes are gonna be expensive, i might as well just buy a whole new g36 and put my steel cocking set and rails on it. what do you think

i hope the tm has metal gears at least
You have much to learn young jedi. TM's ALL have metal gears, and superior everything else. Only downside is you need metal bushings and a new spring to up your FPS.

ICS + $$$ + time = gun repair experience
Those are all vII gearboxes. You need verIII for g36.

as far as I know there aren't any premade g36 gearboxes out there. ICS and G&G have AK gearboxes but still need to be opened to replace the nozzle and selector plate.

You'll need a Version 3 GB, those two above are V2.
yeah that looks like the best option
im lookin at parts to put in the gear box, new nozzle, piston head, also new hop up bucking, eg1000 motor = a little more than $83. do you think its worth it?
