....Dumb injuries
I was 20 and I had been practicing jumping over parking lot planters (the ones with the 6" high curbs and short shrubs) on my rollerblades all afternoon. I had the speed, distance and vertical clearance dialed in perfectly by using a set of chalk marks directly next to the planter itself.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.

Well Storm I think it is safe to say you are not the only one that has done less than genius things and got hurt.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

I usually take my casts off myself using a hand saw, this last time (2 weeks ago) i decided to use a table saw to make it faster, I set the blade about a half inch too high and cut into my arm, dad made me buy a new blade...
fell off a cliff on my bike. broke left arm/wrist. happened yesterday... lol
jumped over what i though was a low wall at a freinds house only to realize it was a retaining wall and the drop on the other side was 15 feet rather than 3 feet, dropped, fractured left leg (landed sitting cross legged for some dumb reason) the rolled down the rest of the hill, took awhile for my friends to find me.
I just found a house centipede in the corner of my bedroom...the hunt begins...
was playing with a six inch cold steel ti-lite, and was flicking it open upside-down. next thing i knew it flew out of my hand and hit my foot, i went to pick it up and saw that about half an inch of the blade was covered in blood, so i took of my shoe and is started pouring out. it went to the bone. didnt want stitches so i let it heal natrully. the puddle is still there it turned out to be about a foot in diamiter. this was like 3 months ago. didnt hurt at all though so that was cool.
