Aquafina = Tap water
"PepsiCo Inc. will spell out that its Aquafina bottled water is made with tap water, a concession to the growing environmental and political opposition to the bottled water industry."
I thought everybody was aware that bottle water is just hyped-up tap water?
Gun control is not Crime control.
I thought everybody was aware that bottle water is just hyped-up tap water?
I thought it was filtered from the "Mountain springs of colorado" or some sh!t like that... lol
Nope. The mountains on the bottle labels mean nothing.
Gun control is not Crime control.
yep, especially considering its more expensive than Gasoline!
Brita is your friend.
The F-Word: "It's like the Swiss Army Knife of words"
So you pay for convenience and filtration.
I work at a grocery store for a summer job and I lug around 50million cases of water for people all the time and even the companies that ship to us tell us that it's just tap water so everytime people buy a shitload and spend 50+ dollars on water bottles I just laugh its just so dumb....
Lol... tastes the same...

what ever happened to the filtration system that you put on your kitchen faucet??
wht about Crystal Geyser- they say they get that stuff from Shasta Mt. They cant just say that and lie thats false advertising there must be something. And your not paying for a fifty case to be retarded, a lot of people buy it because bottled water is filtered which is healthier and yeah it does taste better cuz you can chill them in a fridge. The Mountains must mean something or they could get in huge trouble, theres definently something about the mountains they use.
Im already here so somebody's gotta die....

I don't think most people who buy bottled water do so to sit around and drink it at home. If you care about the purity of your home tap, you install a filter or buy one of those pitchers to do the work. We drink bottled water because we're LAZY. Who wants to fill a sturdy reusable container, lug it around with you and have a bottle of warm or hot water with you when you're thirty? It does make sense in a lot of ways and some people do it but the majority of us just don't end up doing it. And, if you can find a public fountain wherever you happen to be, who really trusts that spigot with the piece of chewed gum jammed into it?

some people like the convenience of a cap.
Some say-That it's impossible for him to wear socks, and he can open a beer bottle with his testes.

No, what I was saying was people are, typically, too lazy to fill a canteen or what have you and carry it around with them.
I don't generally drink when I'm out and about. If I know I'm going to need water, [if I'm going on a long bike ride or the rare hike] I bring it from home.

Uh-huh. Sounds like they're lazy and lack foresight. It's likely at least some of that walks out the door and into their vehicles with them when they go out (or maybe they just don't like dirtying a glass).

This sentiment about 'where my water comes from' is just stupid. Filtered water is filtered water.

We aren't talking about camping. We're talking about treated and filtered water from a mountain glacier stream spring with pixies and fairies vs. treated and filtered tap water.
Gun control is not Crime control.
lol and yes as we all know the epa which cant even stop toxic watse people surly has the time to regulate all cities and governments. I would rather take the fda's word over soemthign then the epa. If the epa so closely regulated the water we drink it would be so different from city to city and state to state. Go drink some yellow water out in NJ or SoCal. How about brown water in texas. How about sand colored and tasting water in Turlock and parts of Sac. Anyone who has lived in more then one place can tell you the water is diffrent. It smells diffrent, it taste diffrent looks different. Im not saying bottled water is the gods gift. Im saying people are afraid of gov regulations and there so called inforcement of those. Some people drink bottle water for fear of what is in tap water. 20/20 and 60 min both did expose on the subjects a few times, which led to better tap water treatments. But our water is system if far from perfect and far from good. Is it mexico, no and nor should it be, but for being the superpower we are its a joke. Just to think that the water the comes out of your tap is fine and good is up to you, but i wouldnt belive for the sake of beliveing that it is.
