New laptop.

thank you, hopefully the 8800m comes out soon and it'll come in a smaller envelope so I can install it without any modifications to the bios. If I recall, Nvidia promised it sometime in the winter and they're trying to make different versions of it, all having different voltages. The lowest voltage if I recall was 22 watts.

Mac's are cool for multimedia editing of all kinds, but ya can't play games on it.

Hey dont be hatin. They have their uses. For video and picture editing and rendering they are unbeatable, trying finding a program for a PC like Final Cut Pro. Yes, a little overpriced, and i can't stand their fanboys, or His Steveness, BUT i do recommend them to some people depending on what their needs are.

just wait till i get home. My 20" imac kicks some serious ass in bf2142 and 2. The mac side runs doom 3 like a dream. (ultra realism level and at 8x anti aliasing) don't forget id and ea are straight porting games for apple.
