is there a company that makes an electric colt 1911 rather then a gas?

there is such a thing as google. it will let you know of such information with much better accuracy than on here. And with far far less drama. Try it.

I've always wondered this and maybe this is a whole other topic, but I see just 2 advantages to an AEP over a GBB:

The way I see it. Gas is cheap. GBBs offer more realisim if thats what fancies you. And the big one for me, cycle time. I can let off a lot of aimed rounds in a very short amount of time. Zero lag time. And they are every bit as reliable if you spend a little more for a good brand.

I think that people should try to shoot an AEP and use it as a sidearm (or even primary!) in a game before they pass judgement on these little wonders.
