True Realism?
hey all i need is my scoped rifle, its does its job everytime, i dont need a nade launcher or a laser, if you look at any sniper police or military, all they have is a scope and if there lucky a bipod.

currently im saving up money for one bad ass gear setup, but its probably one of the most un-realistic setups anyone would ever wher...

While the post isn't to say that We should follow Realism to the letter, its just a thought I put out there. Airsoft is, like other sports, to look cool. Skateboarding with the "best" boards, trucks, and wheels. Paintball with the improved compressed air delivary, hopper set up and improved electonrics. But adding realism to the mix, makes the game alot better.

Headshot. : Ah ok, I see. Yea people do say that black is not natural. In a way it is, but pure black gear will stand out...in a open field. It still works in forested areas.

CASV are used primarily by Navy EOD units. I saw an episode on the History channel about the EOD's and they were all rocking 10.5" CASV-EL with Magpuls or VLTOR stocks. So they are in use and issued.

So it depends on the individual solider in that case? I know TheCap was telling me earlier about his experences and that having the all the bells and whisles some of us have on our M4s, aren't practical in live fire experences.
My personal opinion is this: Airsoft isn't actually about realism. It's just about looking like a Bamf.

Each to his own. Do your own thing and who care what the other guy looks like. I personally HATE HICAPS and I own only one for my m60, as it is the only mag I can use with it. I prefer to run standards and Low Caps when I play because it forces you to play smart. I Hate getting in to fire fights with the Hicap Commandos with drum mads and self winders on m4s and AKs or the guys who run around with 6 hicaps. My 300 bbs VS their 3000.
