A couple weeks ago i ordered an m4 and a couple of extra magazines from an online dealer, it took them only a couple of days to process my order. a week later the magazines arived but no rifle, i contacted the retailer, and they said NIST and US customs needed samples of particular rifles for "investigation" and "tests" so none of the brands of rifles being tested can be shiped until NIST clears them. :x

What the heck is NIST?

it's not MY gun it is one of the same brand so all of that type of gun can't be shipped, and the owner of the company posted a message that they were not given a reason for the tests.

Cant be shipped? Or have to be inspected before they are?

None can be shipped, all 100something they have in stock until one sample rifle is "throughly tested"

O bummer. Looks like your just going to have to wait while those big scary men have there way with your gun. :cry:. But stay strong youll get it eventually.

Still its kinda suspicious about the whole situation, and i hope some hot chick is messing with the guns, not some big guy that smells like heavy colone
