HOW do you know its not working? Is the battery plugged in or even charged? Is there a clicking noise when the trigger is pulled? is it double feeding? What? Don't be a N00b and expect help without giving us info on the problem.

Yeah. If you gave a better description, you could probably even get some advice and fix it youself. Details are very important.

Alright, well Right when I put the battery in, it just did not fire at all, and my friend has the exact same gun, and he put my battery in his, and it worked perfectly, but when I put it in mine, it just was silent, and I double checked everything and it and nothing. I know its the the actual gearbox it has to do with the firing mechanism, and I must say I know nothing about airsoft, so Im kinda lost. But I can show any of you. Sorry if this didnt help, but I know what the problem is, but I cant explain it.

No, trust me, cause when I used a flathead screwdriver to push this one piece, it fired, but then when I tried to reconnect the piece to the part it disconnected to , it wouldnt, so thats pretty much the problem

Sounds like something in the trigger mechanism.

Hmmm... part... There's so many parts in a gun. Electrical as in battery to gun or maybe electrical as in motor leads? Hmmmm... I say Hmmm....

Youre right, so im just gonna take it in to AEX tommorow, and they said theyd probobly be able to fix it, but I know its deffinitely in the trigger mechanism
Aug 10, 2007 3:33am
motor leads perhaps?

Ok, well I managed to fix it, kind of, well I took out the selector switch, and now it is only fully automatic, but it does not shoot at the same rate as a normal one would. Anyways, I did find out, that the battery was also apart of the problem, because the battery just does not work at all even after a full charge. Does anyone know how much a NI MH 8.4 V battery would be that would be compatible with the AGM MP-40??

any battery with that voltage and mah will work. The reason the ROF is slower is beacue its not making a good conection and your slowly buring out your wiring. Maybe if u would LISTER to any of the advice and take it to AEX and have them look at it. Simple. Cost you 30$ instead of waht ever random part/s you break.

If you have an extra gun you mind as well use that... In the meantime let Neouser know what the problem is and im sure he'll hook you up... Im pretty sure hes still around
