With the many after market parts available for the tm 1911A1, is it possible to build one using ALL aftermarket parts without actually buying a tm 1911 as a donor base?

Little tiny springs, hammer, sears, lots of important stuff.

Yeah but is that stuff that can't be used from, oh, idk, a broken WE 1911(which i've read is a clone or damn near of a TM)?

You get what you pay for.

oh gee I don't know maybe b/c all the aftermarket parts are built to fit TM 1911s? a lot of companies will claim that their product is 100% TM clone, but it never is.

I suppose it could be possible. But I have no idea where you are going to get all the internal parts for a TM 1911. If they were all aftermarket, I'm thinking it would be cheaper to just buy a donor gun.
