Is a systema worth it?

Aug 11, 2007 6:06am
So I would like to get a systema ptw, prob the m4 version, from aex sometime within the next year(after I finish saving up the money). I'm wondering if those of you who own the newer ptw models think they are worth it. I'm thinking of getting one along with an eotech holoshight and the six pack of mags. Also does sacair allow them at games? cuase ive heard of people putting in the 130 cylinder and pissing some people off. Thanks.

If you play every weekend and realize you'd just keep adding to your gun until it's costs over 1K...The PTW almost seems worth it.

I play most weekends (though not in big games often) just at my house cause I live on a couple acres in the country. Thanks for the input. Also, I havnt handled one but Ive heard their rock solid compared to a CA or TM. Do you know if this is true?

Dont worry I agree with you that TM's are excellent. Im just looking for a weapon that doesnt creak and look like a toy. What TM model do you have?

yes yes i got a ptw... yes i spent way too much on it but for what i spent i got a good deal (buy used!). I swore i'd never get one, i mean who the hell spends $1k+ on an airsoft TOY. Then i saw one, shot one, and shot the burst function. Next week my brand new gun built by the best that i'd just built from the groud up (sexy metal body, talon rail which is for sale now... make me an offer on it of cash or a nifty trade and i'll prob take it, TN TB) had the gearbox crack. No ones fault just a bad cast on a TM shell (btw the parts from the gearbox are fine and for sale).
