bored
I was talking to a bro and he was thinking of quitting because he was gertting bored with airsoft. I agree it is getting alittle old. That is why I am going ot the comp side of things for awhile. I have been looking at ipsc airsoft pics and it lookks like fun. Anyway what do you guys think?

seems like it could be fun, there's video on redwolf of clarence lai doing IPSC, looked pretty intense.
My best advice for new airsoft players:
yeah I am looking at place right now to hold comps at. I am going to talk to some peeps on rules so we can use rifles pistols, shotties whatever. But have it so yes you do compete against everyone but mostly against yourself. anyway an indoor place will be used.

Yeap it's boring... not what I remembered at all... gone to a couple of games over the last two months, not really to gung ho any more...
I think what's being lost here is the attitude of just going out to have fun and shooting each other. Too much emphasis on being "MILSIM" or not being a noob or having a gun that's shooting 399.99 FPS.

Game & BBQ's always work. As is going out for lunch afterwards. I think alot is missed by the socialising after the games.

Great Idea Steve. I'll get off the stick and write up a basic safety policy - like 20 points, less than 1 page...something simple you might use.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
sh it honeslty i have more fun at games just hanging out with peeps than i do playing. I miss the good old days going to the chinese buffet in marysville.

I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.
FPS limits should be updated. As a couple of points on mags out in the parking lot/staging areas.
