if i am using an m16 as my primary weapon, what should be my backup, a pistol or something like a shotgun? Your help is appreciated, thanks

Go with a pistol, small, compact good weapon nice for clearing houses and easily maneuvered. I prefer the TM 1911.

Can't go wrong with a g19 w/ extra mags.

thanks, now to the next issue, i really cant afford a $140 pistol, so if there is any fair quality pistols in the $60-$80 range (yes i know it wont be no TM) that would also be nice.

i gotta kwa glock 18c for sale, doesn't like to do full auto for long (need a 1mm wrench to fix it and they are not easy to come by), comes with a hi cap mag, ail sites

I would say an AEG, pistols are more of secondary weapons than back ups, especially when playing in the woods.

by "backup" i didn't mean if my gun broke or something, i meant if i was caught in a bad situation like reloading and i'm being shot at and i need to buy some time to save my ass.

If you're looking for an "Oh, Sh*t - I'm reloading" sidearm, buy a TM hicapa - 33 rounds per mag... if you carry 3 mags... you get the point...

pistols come in handy. enough said.

Good morning everyone, yesterday was my birthday, got some money so I'm going to be stoping by AEX down in Citrus Heights later today to get some gear, and mabe I'll pick up one of those TM's you guys reccomended :wink:
