Noob GBB question
I just bought a KWA M9 from AEX the other day, and after charging the magazine with green gas i get only like a clip and a half out of it before i need more gas, so is that normal?

Yup. Even more so when you fire quickly.

so when i'm playing should i cary around a can of gas or a butload of extra magazines?

If you want to save some money i would suggest getting a propane adapter and using propane instead. the adapter is a little pricey, but a can of propane is super cheap.

my pistol is just my "oh crap i'm reloading and being shot at" gun

Then just have one or 2 extra mags and leave it at that.

It like, smells horrible, has no lubrication, and is inconsistent.

i think somewhere in the manual for the gun it says "do not use propane with this gun"

from what I know , propane is still good, but thats because i lubed my guns every week, i never had a problem with propane, other than my tanaka shooting 708 with it :| . but if you let the mag sit in the gun, you should get more shots, as long as you don't fire real quick. if moneys the issue, then go propane and silicone lube (if your good with that kind of stuff)

I currently use propane and oil mixture... one drop oil in fill port of mag then fill, no problems with my GBB's. been running propane for months, i put about 5-6 mags through each gun every game day. The only issue that i have is the fact that propane is flammable, doesn't seem so safe to me - I smoke
Pretty much anything you are going to use is flamable. GBB=GAS blowback.
