Resigning myself to catching hell for simply owning a psg-1 now, I am in search of any one who has upgraded and skirmished with a psg-1 for sharpshooting so i may pick thier brains for what upgrades they have done, how well it has performed, longevity issues.

My PSG-1 is doing about 525-530fps and i love it. I went out and bought a systema heli-cut FTK... The PSG-1 is a grip to upgrade but if you like having an AEG sniper it is the sh it. I run a big batt 10.8v in a side pouch of the stock, i have the prometheus tighbore (awesome grouping)... I installed the upgrades but if you haven't opened a gearbox more than 10 times, don't mess with the PSG! let AEX do it.!
another thing about PSG 1's....
I run the aluminum piston and have been for months, i skirmish every weekend... never had an issue, but with anything else i would never run an aluminum piston
