Now the question is:
"If today is a good day to die, then how bad could it be to live today?"

*Sigh* And so it came to pass: the era of the rare M14 on the field is now, officially over.

this is actually a good ebr kit ....i just got it in the shop the other day (Gamepod) Chino took it apart and put my marui in it. but before we did the body swap everything worked good with no real problems....when it took it out of the box it shot 14bps, 357 fps with .20 and 316fps with .25 . It came with a crappy large 9.6 , 2 hi-cap mags and a sling.....the sling is a piece of shit its made of cheap plastic

Not bad....It's a cheap alternative for the kit. Hell, I might pick one up to just tinker around with and do some custom work.

I wonder what the lead content in it is. And who will be the first to literally break it? I have yet to hear anyone break their TGS (Korea), G&P (Taiwan) or King Arms (Taiwan) EBR Kits. It may look nice alone but what is the difference when placed next to any of the other brand of kits?

I'm planning on getting it sometime in the next few weeks. If gamepod is carrying them for the same price as online retailers...I'll make the two and a half hour drive (round-trip).

tax only applies if you live in that state. Airsoft Gi is in texas. If the order was made in texas, then taxes are applicable to me. Since I live here in CA, Texas can't press it's taxes on a non-resident.

weird because when I set up my order from them it had tax:

My local airsoft retailer has that AEG. I've held it, and it is really heavy. (that doesn't make it good, just heavy). Keep in mind, my primary weapon is a Marui M14, and that Echo1 EBR is heavier. Honestly, I don't know if I like the way it feels or not, but that is a personal opinion anyway.

eh. I've yet to weild the EBR, but the real M14 is much heavier than a TM m14. Its a battle rifle, designed to fire a large round and therefore must be able to contain that round's power and deleiver good accuracy. The Echo is much lighter compaired to the real EBR.
Oct 14, 2007 3:26am
Too bad the stock is a cheap cast... I will stay with my CNC'ed EBR, no fear of breaking it. I will probably break the m14 it self befor I break the stock.

So long as you keep the gun safe and away from potental hazards, you should be fine. 95% of the time, its all user-error or mistreatment ( from my experence) 231 for a EBR, so long as there are replacement parts on the market, and willing techs to dabble in a "Clone's" inards, you'll be find.
