So I'm reading my way through the "Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks that I found and it is a real eye opener. It covers all aspects of zombies, how they come to be, how you can detect them, how to defend yourself including usages of different weapons from long range to hand to hand and close quarters. It shows what you should do for home protection in case of different scale infections. It has tons of awesome information including the supplies you should have on hand in your home, the precautions you should take in defending or baracading yourself, and it has all sorts of documented cases of zombie attacks dating from 60,000 bc to very recent. If you aren't really into books give this one a try. It is absolutely awesome. Lets just say reading was a definite eye opener and I feel better defending myself incase of a zombie invasion.
A lot of stuff discussed in the Zombie Survival Guide is very realistic, useful information for any chaotic situation. I learned quite a bit of semi-useful stuff, and I was completely entertained.
Gun control is not Crime control.
Be sure to read the companion book, World War Z, by the same author.
Yeah, I saw that book aswell, i'll try to pick up a copy after I finish the survival guide. Now all i want to do is work out and fashion skull breaking brain ruining zombie killing weapons.

I ordered some rally armour mud flaps for the STi to keep zombie off my paint lol
i got the handbook very good indeed. I need to stock up on cross bows and bolts for it and a .22 ahndgun :lol:
