its a counter clockwise thread, so spin it the "wrong" direction. helps to put a screwdriver through the holes and twist, u'll have to break it off.

yea...or if your really skilled get a dremel, and some cutting wheels, remember you must me SKILLED or handy to a point, DO NOT hit the threads...

mine was locktited on, I had to get a screwdriver in it to get leverage and spin it so hard it snapped a few of the "bars" off the cage of it...

Dude, just hit the thing with some heat. It will soften up the lock-tite. And it's not like the metal threads will melt.
