I just got a CA G36k and am wondering what kind of vest would fit the magazines when two of them are clipped together?

I don't think double AK mag pouches can fit G36 mags... On my weesatch I can stick 2 AK mags in per partition, but I sure as hell can't put 2 G36 mags clipped together in there.

Decide how much gear you really want to carry. Then go to a store that sales vests. See which ones are comfortable. Pick which one you like the most.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

I used to own a G36 ( as have many here). With a AK double pouch, you could be able to fit one G36 mag. Guess you can think of it as this. 1 G36 Mag = 1 and a half M4 Mags. You may want to get the AK double if you want to have some right there, but I would have a SAW or Large dump pouch on your weak-shooting side. You can fit 4 G36 mags in a SAW pouch easily, either clipped or seporated.
