Had one of the Marushin Gas shotguns. It was the Slugster model. It was the one that shot only one BB. It was able to shoot at 380fps, with 134a. Green gas would work but more than likely you will need to use bigger O rings and constantly lube it. I found myself often replacing them and adjusting it because it would leak. I have read that the the other models have alot less power(something like only 250-280fps). The bbs are loaded all in the same barrel which doesn't give it much of a spread. After modding mine slightly I was able to get it to shoot the 3 BBs and did not like it. The first BB would fly pretty straight but the last two would almost just fall immediately out of the barrel. Overall I think it was able to shoot like 80 feet with it set up like that. I soon switched it back to one bb. I Was finally able to get it to shoot consistently without leaking before I sold it. If you are looking for the 6mm version you won't be able to find a brand new one. The 8mm is available at most of the oversea shops. thanks for the info. Yeah, I'm thinkin about getting a shotty and I've narrowed it down to a tm or maybe a marushin but I'm still doing research. The maruzen ones sounded cool but i unfortunately don't have the skills or money to mod one with co2 to make it actually skirmishable.

I didn't like the Maurzen defender. Not enough power and not enough ammo. I would like the m870 with shell ejection. but have not found one yet. I wouldn't get the marushin. too much work and the you will have to carry gas with you when your out in the field. You get about 30 to 40 shots per fill. There is a spring version, but i have not yet found one made by marushin.

thanks for the advice. I've heard that the maruzen m870's are underpowered as well unless you do an external co2 mod. Plus you need a shell catcher and stuff. I know there are some m870's on ebay stores but they're located in hong kong so shipping would be a bitch. poweredgearusa has m870's as well. if only they were more powerful in stock form...35 foot effective range is kind of ridiculous...esp in the non cqb environments we play in.
