Systema Turbo getting hot
I was advised that the EG1300 that came with my VFC HK416 was getting hot pretty fast and I would need to change it. They guy who works on my gun installed his CA motor and said he did not see the same issue while it was installed.

not to sure exactly what the problem is but i know that my turbo motor doesn't get hot when i fire full auto. Mayb step it down to a eg1000...? what type of CA motor did he put in? My experience tells me that CA motors are garbage... iono just my 2cents :P
The motor used to test the gun was a used CA torque up motor with a new pinion.

Its just the the motor that get hot and I barely notice the grip getting hot with gloves.

Sounds like something is to tight in the gearbox, and is causing a heavy draw on your battery. That would cause your selector plate and wires, and motor to get hot. maybe shimmed to tight?

Yes the spring is stock it shoot 350fps on the nose with the EG1300. I'm going to chrono it to see what it shoots currently with the Turbo before I decided on what spring to upgrade too.
How long do you mob on the trigger for?
Short burst when in Full Auto. I reinstalled the motor last night and I was going to check it this morning but my battery died. It did seem to be working better though.
