sniper rifles?

Sep 20, 2007 10:14pm
So I'm new to the Sacramento area, and stumbled upon this site while looking for places to play, and I gotta say, it sounds great. I was looking at the next game, Wheatland this Sunday, and saw that the FPS limit is 350. Its kinda disappointing to me, as a sniper, that its so low. So after some searching, I found some posts talking about a 500 or 550FPS limit for sniper rifles... Whats the official word on this? and does this apply to all locations? (I saw the limit can change depending on the place/game) And my gun is a Maruzen APS-2 SV bolt-action rifle, 400FPS, so I'm sure it would qualify as a sniper rifle.

for the game this weekend sniper rifles above 350 fps will not be allowed, however at the Nam field in Marysville snipers are usually allowed, up to a maximum of 550fps

Normal Sniper FPS is 550 for open fields, spring powered single shot rifles.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

Ok, thanks for the info. The only gun I have with me now is the Rifle, so maybe Wheatland another time. But you'll definitely see me at the next game! (as long as its not at Wheatland)

You could probably borrow an AEG if you posted up on the game thead asking...
