I like these WWII books that are first person acounts. Great books all around.

robert's ridge. dunno who wrote it, but it's about a seal who ia stranded on a mountain in afgahnistan, and how his comrades go back for him and put their life on the line to save one man.
What is the seven roads of hell about? I really like WWII books but my school library thinks its too violent.

Not sure what you're looking for here. These books aren't like crazy sensational war stories that are going to be like action movies in print. I don't know about any action books like that. If you're looking for good books about military history or warfare then these are good choices for you. By the way, this is by no means complete, but I think it's a good start.
I just went to Barnes and Nobles and picked up Roberts Ridge, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, and The Mammoth book of Special Ops.
