TM VSR-10 G SPEC
I picked up a TM G spec last week end and would like to upgrade it to shoot about 500 FPS. Its shoot 415 with a longer TM barrel, PSS10 VSR10 Neo Piston, PSS10 VSR10 Piston Sear, and a 150 spring. Sorry I have never messed with a spring sniper and I am not sure what it should shoot with what i have and what i need to make it shoot 500.
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.
Had a conversation with some guys at the game last Sunday. They all said it's really hard to get it up to 500fps. It takes a lot of tweaking apparently. Some useful parts I remember hearing were a Zero Trigger and a new air cylinder.
Mine is currently being worked on at AEX.
my source is airsoftforum.com, this is a copy from the vsr-10 upgrade guide.

Burgin teh snipezor :)]
God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.
...just noticed that u said a 150 spring and 415 fps....there must be something wrong there, like a bad seal. Have you replaced the o-ring on the aftermarket piston? I've read almost innumerable accounts of aftermarket pistons having horrible seals because the o-ring is too thin.

get a hard bucking
you can pay for school but you cant buy class
The hopup on vsr's is friggin FANTASTIC, zero trigger prolly isnt necessary for a 150, and since u dont have one now it probably wont be an issue, plus zero triggers dont have replacement parts :(
a zero trig is necessary for anything above stock...

....then i must be missing something...y would a zero trigger be necessary, he's running his with a standard trigger right now.
because its going to break anyway, and its nice to have a soft pull...

well i looked at it again today and from what i can tell the stock cylinder head is making a good seal. the pistion my have a small leak in it i think. i took out the spring a guide and put my finger over the nozzle and pushed the pistion down real fast. it made a seal but if i pushed down just a little harder i could push it all the way down. one other think i think could be wrong is i think the nozzle has a very small gap around the bucking. i could be wrong but i think a new my fix that.

i would focus more on your hopup, hopup bucking, and barrel...

ok me and adam are both getting the low 400s with a m150 spring. i see where they make a 170 and 190 spring. i was thinking getting a 170 spring but i may get a 190 spring but dose any one think a 190 will put me over 550?

something is wrong if your getting a low 400 with a 150...

ok one thing that i found was that the cylinder was not meeting flat against the hop chamber leaving about 1/16 of a inch gap from the nozzle and the hop bucking. i teflon taped the head and back it out till it met flat against the chamber and it game me about 15 more fps so not its shooting 430. lol its still not 500 but its a little better.

what brand of cylinder set up do you have?

i guess thats a good idea to keep it till it breaks ...but its very hard to upgrade with the stock cylinder. u need to drill and shit...

i guess theirs something to the way they design it, it shoots the air out more effectively then the stock parts...something scientific to it
