ICS MP5 A4 V.3.5
can i trust an ICS MP5 A4 V.3.5 since it's a version 3.5 and not a 3.0, also if it had upgraded internals?
ah ok...you just posted the actual question...so nevermind
What's a signature?
i just don't trust ICS period. I'd either stick with TM or CA. a TM gun will work awsome for you as long as you don't try to upgrade it. if you do plan to upgrade it, make sure to go the full mile and upgrade everything in it, or u'll wear down ur internals quickly. CA makes good stuff too, but u take a chance of getting a lemon, a chance u don't really take if u get a TM, but CA guns, when u get a good one, its GOOD.
No, dont go for ICS, I have an ICS MP5A5, the thing breaks down on me like crazy, lots of problems, last game i used it at it broke down on me a few times, some of you guys remember my MP5 problems.
Oh wait, well actually, since your getting an A4, thats not as bad, i guess if your low on cash, go for it.
I just don't know if i can trust a plastic japanese made gun. It just seems like it wouldn't be a sturdy gun to use. Know what i mean? and yea i am low on cash so i might get the A4 with fully upgraded internals.
well, actualy, as long as ur not throwing ur MP5 and u care for it like a real steel firearm it will last. I'm not a TM fan, but I'd much sooner buy a TM than I would an ICS, simply because of the natorious problems with ICS. granted, the only experience I have with ICS is with the city PD's ICS M4, it was enough to tell me how much they suck, especially considering i couldn't get it to shoot.

There's no problem with TM mp5's They feel solid. Know the plastic bodies on the M4's are a different story.
If you're low on cash or on a budget the more you should go with TM no matter what rifle you're choosing.

I own 4 M4s 2 Classic Army, 1 ICS, and 1 TM. the two CA get used every week by my brother and I. the TM used to be my primary and has had no problems except the front reciver pin fell out but who cares it costed a buck to replace with a real metal one. the CA M4 shoots about 300 fps out of the box opposed to the TM 280 fps and the only time I clocked the ICS it was lower than the TM I dont remember what it was. The ICS was by far the most expensive purchas of the 4 and the biggest waist of money. It almost never gets used becuase it is unreliable and quite frankly makes the most irritating sound when fired. the CA some times have mag relese problems but that seems to go away with use. The TM if you replace the plastic bushings in the gear box with metal bearing bushings (about $15-$25) and put a systema M120 spring in it (about $15) you have quality gun shoting about 345 fps for cheaper than the CA or ICS stock.
[quote="rossyposs"]well in my experience with TM mp5s, borrowed one from jeff. it was horrible, the MOF selector fell off, it had borken 2 times before i used it and it broke onece more after me.
well i guess most of you have had bad luck with these mp5's. i have an ics mp5 a5 ver.3.5 and i havent had one problem with it besides adjusting the motor once. but i am trying to sell it for $150. if anybody wants it let me know. good luck with all your guns :D
let me just say that my Airsoft Elite ICS MP5 v3.5 works great, looks great, and shoots straight. I have never owned a TM MP5,but i can safely say that the Airsoft Elite ICS MP5 v3.5 is a good buy for prospective MP5 owners. I have had mine for approximately 10 months and it still serves me well. I cannot vouch though, for the stock ICS version 3.0s and the 2.0s, as I have heard horror stories about them too numerous to list here.
