I have a quick question?
My friend traded his xbox 360 on an online paintball website for a high-end paintball gun and the guy wanted him(my friend) to ship first.so he checked his feedback and everything was good.So my friend decided to ship first.A week later the guy gets the 360 and my friend is waiting for his paintball gun. 3 weeks later nothing comes and he finds out the guy is trying to scam him.What should he do?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

not really, i phrased that kinda wrong. Bassicly what im saying is you didnt havea contract so you have no way in court to say that you didnt want to just give him the Xbox. Unless you have PM;s or email saved and a way to identify his email or alias online toa real person. I deal with court, cops, and investigations daily. In California the courts hate the victim and seem to help the bad guy. Im not certain which state jurisdiction this crime would fall under.
not do deals over the internet. Use pay pall. Get a legal contract. I say do all deals in person. I deal with criminals on a daily basis they suck.
Whats the best way not to get scammed?And if for some reason you do what should you do?
