I Just picked up Enemy Territory: Quake Wars at Fry's for Thirty Seven Dollars!

I guess this type of game just has the prerequisite of having annoying NPCs screaming at you the entire game.

So is there a rank / weapon upgrades system like bf2?

just played the demo, lol the flying drones are pretty fun... definitely a game to add to my to buy list.

Really fun demo but they promote you way too fast. It isn't like that in the retail game is it poison?

yeah I think so, I've been doing horrible at it and I've been getting decent promotions.

Quake 3 was an awesome game. The whole quake series started the whole fps movement.

Even though this was a joing effort between ID and the Enemy territory people the efficiency in which the game was programmed is awesome.

i just picked it up yesterday so im thinking its time to go play it.

Are there as many servers for Quake as there is for BF2? I should pick up this title.

its a good game. Been playing it for a part of the day. No real issues i have found. I did have some clipping issues like when your dead your legs are in the wall but no gameplay issues yet. I have not downloaded the update yet. I have graphics on highest they can go and no real amount of lag. At one point when i had all the cpu opponets on the map in vehicles all shooting in one screen the frame rates dropped alot but i expected that. The learning curve is not to bad. Haven t done online yet will later.

So do you get more weapons as you rank up, or is it only abilities? I'm loving the demo, it has a Gears of War feel to it.

So what time is everyone playing on that server?

I'm a loser and haven't setup the server yet.
