Gearbox is gonna be a new design. The hopup is a dial type hop instead of the slide style. The actual receiver is gonna be cast but the bolt cover will be pressed steel. Magazines are supposedly closer to RS dimensions and feature the new feed design of the Type-89. And unfortunately it is not backwards compatible with older AK magazines.

not sure if it's gonna be like guarder's I don't think anyone outside of Marui has gotten to look at the innards yet. I'm sure they've done a bit to improve the range on it too due to Japan's 0.9J laws

Blow back, MBK, New gearbox, New hop, New Mags..The anticipation for it will be great and TM knows it...Its going to be easily $450. The type 89 is $400, and my lower hanging nut sack has more fans...

WOW they finaly have a price listed on the ARM. I want to see pics of the production pieces. but that is a LOT less than the Inokatsu route.
