Hey guys, I haven't been on in a long time. Well I recently beat Halo 3 and I've always wanted to build an Assault Rifle from that game. So i was wondering if any of you guys could help me. I really dont want to be flamed that much for liking something that i do. If you dont want to help with this design than please dont post here. But other than that any information can be extremely valuable to me. Thank you all very much.

Thanks.

I doubt anybody has actually done it successfully, simply because it is such a complex project for a gun, but if you do this well, this could be pretty cool. Good Luck!
I used to work in a bank... USED TO... apparently they don't like it when you take home samples.

build around the gear box, hop and barrel. You better make sure those all work right then build the body of the gun. I would recomend getting a TM stock lower with the gear box, hop, and barrel all attached then build from there. Or get the JLS FN ugly ass gun and build off of that, which is the option i would most likely do. Rememebr if the gear box, hop and barrel arnt allgined right shit wont work so you will have a cool looking gun but it wont work. Its kinda like having a retared hot girl friend. Everything about her says good except something just aint there.

If I were to do that myself I'd use a Marui P90 as a base. Materials to be used is thin gauge sheet metal, mid gauge polycarbonate sheets, and PVC. Tools required would be a dremel, sheet metal snips, lexan snips, pvc glue, epoxy, Bondo, medium grit sandpaper, fine grit sandpaper and prop rivets.
